COVID-19 NOTICE

REGARDING BOARD OF EDUCATION MEETINGS

The Board of Education at Pocola Schools will continue to hold Open Meetings. According to the guidance received from the OSSBA and the OSDE, and the Open Meetings Act, we cannot restrict the number of attendees. Our main focus during this time of crisis is the health and safety of everyone. In light of the Pandemic, we strongly recommend that you consider staying home to protect yourself, the board of education members, and the staff required to attend the meeting. We know there are individuals who attend that have health issues and for those we have a sincere concern.

We are uncertain when the Pandemic guidance will be relaxed. We will try to keep the public as informed as possible. If you have a question or concern, feel free to contact the Central Office.
