Meeting was called to order by Board Chair, Dean Livelybrooks at 7:03 PM. Directors present were: Darren Willits, Jeff Ramp, Troy Wilson, and Doug Perry.

Staff present: Superintendent, Dr. Eileen Palmer, District Service Manager, Lee Ann Hartwig, Principal, Ron Osibov. Patrons: None

No Student Body report or Principal report for this board session.

Superintendent, Dr. Eileen Palmer spoke to the board regarding the out line of possible district goals. A work session will be scheduled for Wednesday August 22, 7:00 PM.

o Approval of district check register June/July 2012

Moved by Darren Willits, seconded by Jeff Ramp, and carried 5-0 to accept the above consent items as submitted to the board. Noted Conflict of interest on check register items 25, 42,76 7, and 38.

b) Approval of New Hires 2012/2013

Moved by Jeff Ramp, seconded by Darren Willits and carried 5-0 to accept the above list of new hires for 2012/2013 as submitted to the board.

c) Approval of change in Extra Duty Contract

Moved by Jeff Ramp, seconded by Troy Wilson and carried 5-0 to accept the hiring of Asst. Football Coach, Charlie Ruffin for 2012/2013.

d) Student Seclusion Policies JGAB& JGAB-AR

Moved by Darren Willits, seconded by Doug Perry and carried 5-0 to accept the First and Second Reading of JGAB & JGAB-AR as presented to the board.

VI Discussion Items:

Board and District goals meeting to be held August 22, 2012, Crow High School 7:00 PM to discuss a building maintenance plan, and possible 4 day work week

The board directed Superintendent, Dr. Eileen Palmer to gather information regarding Surplus properties from other district that have had school closures. Security issues for empty buildings and insurance information.
