Meeting
was called to order by Board Chair Dean Livelybrooks, at 7:06 PM. Directors
present: Jeff Ramp, Troy Wilson, Doug Perry. Staff present: Superintendent, Eileen Palmer, Dist. Service
Mgr. Lee Ann Hartwig, Tami Bloom, Billy Anderson. Patrons and guests: Kyle Rolnick, Gary and Cindy Grafius,
Hillary Willis, Tracy Schwartz, Lynsey Wickwire, Kari Shafer, Linda Lay, and
Daniel Lay.

Comment on Non Agenda Items:
Tracy
Schwartz, Hillary Willis, Linda Lay, Kari Shafer presented to the board that
after December 31, 2013 the parent group ÒVOICEÓ would be no longer operating
with the current volunteers. They
would be doing the car show as scheduled in September 7, 2013 and this would be
there last fund raiser and from that point on the ÒBooster ClubÓ would be doing
the car show. It is hopes that new
volunteers will come forward and reorganize the Applegate parent group.

Oath of Office – Austin Bloom was sworn in
on July 15, 2013 to serve a 4 year term.
b. Consent Agenda

Approval of Board Minutes June 10, 2013, Approval
of Special Board Minutes June 17, 2013 with correction on committee makeup for
applicant committeeÕs.
Moved by Troy Wilson, seconded
by Austin Bloom and carried 5-0 to accept the consent agenda as submitted to
the board with modifications on the recorded minutes.
c.
Board Chair and Vice Chair election.
Moved by Doug Perry, seconded
by Jeff Ramp and carried 5-0 the nominations of Dean as Board chair for 2013/2014.
Moved by Troy Wilson, seconded
by Doug Perry and carried 5-0 to accept the nomination of Jeff Ramp as Vice
chair for 2013/2014.
d.
Classified Contract
Moved by Jeff Ramp, seconded by
Troy Wilson and carried 5-0 to accept the contract with OSEA Classified staff
for 2013/2014 to reflect steps only.
Board Chair, Dean Livelybrooks noted it was appreciated their support in
holding the budget line.
e.
Resignations
Moved by Doug Perry, seconded
by Troy Wilson and carried 5-0 to accept the resignations of Math Teacher, Krin
Hunt, and YTP/Culinary Teacher, Kathy Davis. The board acknowledged their service with the district.
f.
Math Position CHS
Moved by Jeff Ramp, seconded by
Austin Bloom and carried 5-0 to accept the hire of Brian Kau as Math Teacher
Crow High School 2013/2014.
g.
Screen Committee
Moved by Jeff Ramp, seconded by
Doug Perry and carried 5-0 to accept the following members as the screening
committee for the applicants applying for the Administrative positions. Michele Kau, Sid Baum, Donna Willits,
Pat Dixon, Cathy Glazier, Billy Anderson, Patty Morrow, Tami Bloom, Sandi
Henderson, Steve Grube, Kari Shafer, Amy Parsons, Linda Lay and Lisa
Livelybrooks.

further report from the DEQ as to what is further required with the tank
removal.
